Watts Healthcare Corporation is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) located in Watts, CA.  We are expanding our Electronic Health Record system (Open Dental) as part of our mission to better serve patients and track our work records.  In order to do so, we have an immediate opportunity for an Electronic Health Record Analyst (EHR Analyst) to lead this implementation.  This is a temporary assignment of 6-9 months duration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full implementation and integration of the dental electronic health record to ensure that it is configured to operate with our existing medical electronic health record system (ECW = E-Clinical Works) and the digital radiography system.

Here’s what we’ll be asking you to complete successfully:

Document and Track project implementation

Set-up and build provider templates (i.e. billing codes, referrals and other associated templates and forms)

Train dental providers on system use

Run quality periodic system audits

Create, set-up and generate monthly automatic reports

 

The successful candidate will possess:

BA/BS – Business Administration w/concentration in CIS – MIS – Computer Science   -or-  other degree with a minor in CIS/MIS/CS

Demonstrated technical knowledge to comprehend basic computer troubleshooting tasks when needed during Dental EHR training sessions

Crystal Reports and/or Cognos Reports writing experience

Proven data query extraction skills via SQL query via MS SQL or MYSQL database

Ability to develop training materials, lead training sessions and monitor dental providers to ensure they understand how to properly use the system
