Quality prenatal care services are available through the Women’s Health Department. Here we guide the patient through the steps of starting prenatal care and orient her to all of the services available during pregnancy and postpartum. Also, as part of routine prenatal care, patients are offered Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) services. Our Case Managers are certified Family Planning Health Workers who provide Family Planning Counseling to eligible patients under Family PACT, Medi-Cal and Managed Care Plans. Patients are referred to our OB/GYN practice for clinical services.

Our Specialty Programs Include:
Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)
CPSP is a statewide program that provides pregnant Medi-Cal beneficiaries with culturally sensitive services provided by a team of OB/GYN Providers, Comprehensive. Perinatal Health Workers (CPHWs), Health Educators, Registered Dietitians and Social Workers. We partner with our patients in our program from conception through 60 days postpartum to ensure the delivery of quality obstetric services and case coordination. In addition to standard obstetric services, women receive enhanced services in the areas of nutrition, psychosocial and health education.
Family PACT
WHCC delivers Family Planning and related services to all eligible patients in the state of California through the Family PACT program. We provide services relevant to the use of contraceptive methods and other services including:
- Family PACT enrollment
- Contraceptive Methods
- Emergency Contraception
- STD/STI Testing and Treatment for most STDs/STIs
- Pregnancy Testing and Counseling
- Limited Female and Male Cancer Screening
- Education and Counseling
Breast Cervical Cancer Detection Program (BCCTP)
We ensure that patients gain access to timely breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment services. Our providers also support patients through the process and help women overcome barriers and get timely access to quality care. Services include:
- Every Woman Counts (EWC) Enrollment
- Breast exams and Mammograms
- Pap Smears and Pelvic Exams
- Additional Diagnostic Exams for abnormalities
- Enrollment into (No Cost) Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program if there is a cancer diagnosis
