Our sERVICES

SLACAP (South Los Angeles Community Assessment Program) is dedicated to providing education and assessment for high-risk behaviors related to mental health, substance abuse, Hepatitis C, STDs, and HIV. Our team focuses on identifying individuals at risk and offering tailored support to navigate the complexities of treatment. We work collaboratively with both internal and external partners to ensure access to comprehensive care, guiding individuals through the treatment process and connecting them with necessary resources. Through our efforts, we aim to empower individuals in making informed health decisions and improving their overall well-being within the community.

Montee Boulware

Born in Lynwood California but a Long Beach native, Montee is an active participant of the LGBTQIA+ & Ballroom communities respectively. Throughout the years of volunteering within the HIV/STD Prevention field and while maintaining an active presence in the Ballroom Scene of South Los Angeles, I’ve gained a new drive to make privy of those who are inept to prevention services.

“Im hoping that my time here at Watts Healthcare can help more people who look like me build a trust in healthcare and hopefully reach those who don’t to help break the stigma against HIV/STD’s and help END the HIV pandemic!
